One of the greatest concerns of our content enrichment strategy was ensuring that each page was optimised for both the user and search engine. Generating organic reach was of paramount importance and this was a tactic that was employed in our building of product pages.
The product 'blurb' was offset by smaller product 'modules' which were useful in providing further insight into specific features/benefits of products in succinct, concise segments. This not only provided relevancy to user queries, but also streamlined the user experience with clear, informative and engaging content.
We found that this tested well as an additional content section to the blurb and paired with fast-loading, small file high resolution images, was a useful mechanism for improving a product's search engine optimisation.
