Winning Appliances is Australia's leading luxury retailer of high end kitchen and laundry appliances. As a copywriter at Winning, preparing bespoke, individualised product descriptions was one of my main roles. 
Not only was the 'blurb' an important asset for providing insight into the benefits and features of particular luxury products, it was also a valuable tool for improving a product page's SEO data, decreasing its bounce rate, and broadening reach and engagement whilst making a significant contribution towards our main goal: conversion.
When I joined the company, the website featured 150 bespoke product 'blurbs' (used to improve a pages SEO performance) from a catalogue of 6000. When I left, Winning Appliances featured over 2000 bespoke product blurbs from a catalogue of 8000 - the effect of this saw a measurable increase in both reach and conversion metrics.
